Our story

The Salted Loaf started as a hobby — a way to slow down and find joy in something simple. What began with a few loaves in a home kitchen quickly turned into a deep love for the process: mixing by hand, waiting on the rise, baking with care. Over time, that little weekend ritual grew into something more meaningful — and more delicious.

We bake the old-fashioned way, using natural ingredients, no preservatives, and a pinch of salt from the Great Salt Lake. Our loaves are inspired by tradition and made to be shared — whether around your family table or sliced fresh for toast in the morning.

At the heart of The Salted Loaf is a love for real food and the belief that something as simple as good bread can bring a little comfort to your day.

Our ingredients

We keep things simple — just the way bread was meant to be. We use only natural, fresh ingredients whenever possible: flour, water, Wea salt from the Great Salt Lake, and time. No preservatives. No shortcuts. Just honest, wholesome ingredients you can feel good about, baked into every loaf.
